1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of forebangers.com and ForeBangers features, content, communications, community areas, and interactive tools (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate information when joining, subscribing, or using features that request registration details. If account functionality is offered, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

3. Permitted use

ForeBangers is provided for personal, informational, entertainment, community, and legitimate business interaction with us. You may not use the Services to violate law, infringe rights, interfere with site operation, probe or defeat security controls, distribute malware, scrape or harvest information at unreasonable scale, impersonate another person, send spam, or engage in abusive, deceptive, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful conduct.

4. ForeBangers content and intellectual property

The ForeBangers name, logos, designs, site layout, original articles, photographs, graphics, databases, software, written material, and other original content are owned by or licensed to ForeBangers and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as permitted by law, you may not reproduce, republish, sell, license, systematically extract, or commercially exploit our content without written permission.

You may share ordinary links to public ForeBangers pages and quote brief excerpts for legitimate commentary or discussion with appropriate attribution.

5. User submissions and community content

If you submit a golf story, review, comment, photograph, tip, message, or other content, you retain ownership of your content. You grant ForeBangers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Services, unless we separately agree otherwise.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that it does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights. We may moderate, decline, remove, or restrict submissions at our discretion.

6. Golf, course, travel, and destination information

Course conditions, green fees, tee-time availability, dress codes, handicapping requirements, travel costs, opening dates, weather, transportation, border requirements, resort policies, and other details can change without notice. ForeBangers content is intended as a starting point for planning, not a guarantee of current availability, pricing, suitability, or conditions. Confirm important information directly with the applicable course, resort, booking provider, carrier, government authority, or other primary source before making plans or spending money.

7. The Caddie and automated or AI-assisted features

The Caddie and similar features may use automated or AI-assisted technology. Responses may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. They are provided for general information and entertainment and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, safety, or other expert advice. Verify important information independently.

8. Third-party links, bookings, products, and services

The Services may link to or mention golf courses, retailers, booking platforms, resorts, travel companies, equipment manufacturers, advertisers, affiliates, and other third parties. ForeBangers does not control third-party sites or services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, pricing, policies, or performance.

If ForeBangers uses affiliate links, sponsored content, or commercial partnerships, we may receive compensation when users interact with or purchase through those relationships. Where appropriate, we will identify material commercial relationships.

9. Events, contests, and promotions

Specific events, contests, giveaways, or promotions may have additional rules, eligibility requirements, releases, or terms. If those specific terms conflict with these Terms, the specific terms govern that activity.

10. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ForeBangers does not warrant that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any content will be complete, current, or accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ForeBangers and its owners, operators, contributors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss arising from reliance on content, third-party services, travel decisions, course conditions, lost data, service interruptions, or unauthorized access. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold ForeBangers harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or content you submit that violates another person's rights.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or restrict features where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users, third parties, or ForeBangers, or where these Terms are violated.

14. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may change, add, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Services. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will show the latest revision. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

15. Governing law

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable in British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not otherwise resolved will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction in British Columbia, Canada.
